has been in local church ministry with her husband for 40 years. After University she trained as a teacher, and then raised 4 children. Over the last 20 years she has worked as a Bible teacher and evangelist across Australia and overseas. She has written and edited several books and training packages that are sold and used internationally. She now works at Moore Theological College in pastoral care to the students. To relax, she enjoys a good coffee and a good book and hanging out with her grandchildren.
Claire Smith’s life was radically changed by Jesus when she became a Christian as a young adult. Since then she has trained and worked as a nursing sister, and studied Theology. She holds a BTh, MA (Theol), (Australian College of Theology), and PhD (University of Western Sydney/Moore Theological College). Her doctoral thesis examined the vocabulary of ‘teaching’ and the educational environment of the communities depicted in 1 Corinthians, 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus. Claire now spends her time writing and speaking. Her ministry to women includes evangelism, Bible teaching and lecturing. Claire is married to Rob, and they have an adult son, both of whom are in ministry and avid musicians.
Christine Jensen has had many opportunities to encourage women in their love and knowledge of God as she served with her husband at Moore College and in leadership in Sydney Diocese. She enjoys teaching the Bible to women of all ages.She was a primary school teacher and then completed her ThL at Moore College. Her family , with 18 grandchildren at last count , give her a wonderful opportunity to share her great love of children's literature.
Emma Pfahlert lives in the south of Sydney (but is originally from much further south – Melbourne!) She is passionate about Jesus and loves her husband, 4 children and reading the Bible with women. She has studied in a variety of disciplines and has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Melbourne University), a Graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology (Monash University) and a Bachelor of Theology (Moore Theological College), but also believes 1 Corinthians 8:1! Emma now works alongside her husband (the Director of the Ministry Training Strategy – MTS), encouraging men and women to train for Christian ministry via apprenticeship. Emma enjoys running, reading (historical novels) and her Breville coffee machine!
Victoria Colgan lives in the St George area of Sydney where she serves alongside her husband at St George North Anglican Church. Victoria loves spending time with her husband and three children as well as reading the Bible with other women. Prior to completing a Diploma of Bible and Missions at Moore College and becoming a mother Victoria worked in the television and publishing industries.
Helen Jensen grew up mainly in country New South Wales living in the Anglican Dioceses of Canberra/Goulburn, Newcastle, and Riverina as well as Sydney. She was a High School teacher and did country service in the Diocese of Bathurst. She became a christian in her early teens. She is married to Phillip and is the mother of three and grandmother of eleven. She loves being in Bible Study with women and researching, writing and preparing studies for them.
